PROJECT PLANNING

We wanted to improve the communication between interest groups. Due to a lack of annoucements and organization of our school staff, we noticed the lack of communication between the staff and students that led to a lack of parent involvement. This lack of understanding between the groups created a large amount of unneeded stress, anxiety, worry and headaches. As a eam, we became the links between all concerned participants to keep parents informed and allow students to find out what they want to know. 

Our Career Center counselors have been doing a lot of events with colleges, schools and such in an attempt to involve more students however this has been ineffective as only the high ranked alumn are allowed to attend these events. Average students are left out and tend to take the path alone with little to no guidance from an experienced adult. 

Our school had apparently also opened a place for parents to take classes on the students usual dealings, from college applications, scholarships, naviance, class requirements and even social situations. The program is an amazing idea however our club hadn't even known of its existance. 

We needed a to become the brookers of Knight High School.
